The Head of Business Development EMEA will lead a team of BDRs, improve sales strategies, and align with marketing to drive company growth in the EMEA region.
360Learning is looking for a Head of Business Development to join our EMEA team. Your mission will be to scale a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDR) to enable 360Learning hypergrowth in France, UK and Germany.
More specifically, you will be in charge of scaling (hiring) and coaching the BDR team, currently composed of 10 team members; aligning on strategy with Marketing & Sales leadership; being fully accountable for and transparent on the team’s performance.
The team is split between Inbound and outbound. While inbound is clearly established, we will need you to help our outbound team reach the next level (e.g., improve messaging, improve productivity etc.)
To achieve your goals, you will benefit from strong inbound capabilities, a robust tech stack and the help of seasoned colleagues in operations, sales and demand generation. You will be reporting to the EMEA CRO and working closely with the VP of Marketing. You will benefit from thorough onboarding and continuous learning & coaching opportunities as you grow.
Within a month, you will
- Begin your onboarding
- Master the pitch and qualification methodology
- Start qualifying leads and create your first opportunities
- Meet with internal stakeholders and learn the business
Within three months, you will
- Start coaching the BDR team Fully master tools and processes
- Be fully accountable for BDR performance
- Be fully accountable for campaign performance
- Provide call coaching and email reviews
Within six months, you will
- Identify and lead projects to drive BDR performance
- Give qualitative feedback on market response and BDR bottlenecks
- Align with marketing & sales leadership on strategy
- Audit tools and procedures impacting team efficiency
Within twelve months, you will
- Give strategic input to influence the business plan
- Be a key partner for marketing & sales leadership
- Contribute as a subject-matter expert on business development, share your knowledge with the rest of the organization
The Skill Set
- Previous experience of at least 3 years hitting targets in a sales position (BDR, SDR, KAM, AE…) in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven ability to coach a team of 7+ members
- Experience in outbound and/or account-based marketing is a plus
- Preferred but not mandatory: experience using Salesforce, Salesloft and Gong
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Passion for learning and education
- Fluent French & English proficiency, and the addition of German would be a major plus
