About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to oversee and grow our partner ecosystem in Latin America. You will manage Remitly's relationships with LAC partners, including banks, aggregators, and FinTechs, to deliver growth and operational excellence. You will report to the Head Business Development and Partnerships. As the Partner Manager, you'll collaborate internally and with partners to ensure seamless onboarding, optimize performance, and unlock growth opportunities in the region. You'll also play a key role in shaping and executing strategies to enhance customer experience and support Remitly's growth in Latin America.

You Will:

  • Build and execute an annual plan for partners in Latin America, aligned with the regional strategy.
  • Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency, transaction speed, product quality, and working capital optimization.
  • Negotiate renewals, amendments, and new terms while expanding partner capabilities and product offerings.
  • Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and balance short-term and long-term goals.
  • Lead performance reviews with top partners, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing gaps.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner escalations, coordinating with internal teams to resolve financial, operational, technical, and regulatory challenges.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new partners, working closely with Treasury, Product, and other teams to ensure smooth integration.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, preferably in remittances, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer payments and cross-border money transfer, especially in the Latin American market.
  • Proven track record of building and managing relationships across commercial, product, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to anticipate trends and position Remitly for success.
  • 50% travel required to nurture and grow partnerships.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $160,00-$180,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
