An ideal intern candidate for the Hardware Team would be interested in the following:
- Learning how to qualify and manage enterprise hardware in a lab and production environment
- Learning how enterprise data centers are architected
- Converting knowledge gained through coursework into tools used by Cloudflare's Hardware Team or its adjacent teams
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
- In office 2-5 days a week in Austin, TX.
An ideal intern candidate for the Hardware Team would possess the following skills:
- Exposure to compute hardware architecture (x86 or ARM)
- Experience with machine learning, neural networks (preferably hands-on)
- Experience with GPUs for training and inference
- Experience with version control systems (git, mercurial, or similar)
- Experience with Linux command line (file manipulation, text editing, etc)
