About the Role

Join our team as GTM Specialist, Canada and play a key role in driving growth in Canada. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, working with external partners and is passionate about optimizing marketplace dynamics.

This role reports to the Canada Country Manager and sits within the North America Commercial organization.

You’ll work closely with the Canada Country Manager and cross-functional teams to execute market strategy, efficient tactical and operational plans to meet commercial goals, and strong propositions for both customers and taskers.


What You’ll Work On

  • Conduct market analysis to understand local dynamics, competitive landscape, and tasker/client behavior, translating insights into opportunities that sharpen commercial strategy and metro-level priorities.
  • Partner with Country Manager to develop and execute on-the-ground initiatives that optimise and improve local fulfilment, supply activation, and client retention.
  • Drive local/cultural marketing ideas, initiatives, and channels to increase brand awareness, in partnership with marketing.
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand to develop and localize metro-specific campaigns and category initiatives.
  • Orchestrate large-scale metro activations and brand moments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Country Manager and cross functional teams to support partnerships with local initiatives and on-site activations.
  • Support with the execution of seasonal supply planning in partnership with Tasker Success Managers (TSMs), with tailored strategies for high-priority metros.

Your Areas of Expertise

  • 3+ years in strategy, operations, or marketplace roles with demonstrated impact on localized growth or P&L performance. Any experience in marketing is a plus.
  • Bilingual French and English.
  • Analytical skills with experience applying funnel optimization, LTV/CAC metrics, and supply/demand modeling to real-world decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and comfortable presenting to large groups.
  • Experience building and implementing repeatable go-to-market strategies or activations.
  • Comfort working autonomously while coordinating across departments.
  • Comfortable working heavily with data, and operating at a fast pace in an entrepreneurial environment. Experience working in a startup is a plus, especially a marketplace platform.
  • Role includes some travel within Canada and occasional travel to the United States.

Ideal (Nice to have skills):

  • An understanding of the dynamics underlying a two-sided marketplace.
  • Experience working for a global brand.

Location: Toronto preferred, will also consider Montreal or Vancouver.


Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable.  total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - 110,000 CAD. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
