As a GTM Associate, you will drive pipeline creation using innovative engagement strategies, leverage AI tools, and collaborate with sales teams to craft impactful outreach messaging, while experimenting with new methods to enhance pipeline generation.

At MedScout, our mission is to empower MedTech commercial teams with the data, insights, and tools they need to deliver life-changing medical innovations to the patients who need them most. We're creating a best-in-class revenue acceleration platform that unites the latest medical claims intelligence with an intuitive user experience built specifically for sales professionals at medical device and diagnostic companies.

We're at a precipice point in our growth stage as a company. The way we build and scale our GTM approach will determine whether we see incremental growth or breakthrough scale. This role will have a significant impact on that outcome.

This is not a traditional SDR/BDR role. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of what best-in-class pipeline generation looks like - using AI, signals, and rapid experimentation to engage prospects in ways that haven't been done before.

This won't be a "heads down, hit your number, repeat" situation, but that's never been what you've been looking for. You are tired of volume-based metrics and understand that the future of strong engagement is getting prospects to say "they really get us." You're excited to pioneer engagement approaches that don't exist yet and are comfortable building the playbook while running it. You’re looking to build a differentiated and highly sought-after perspective on how modern GTM can be run. If this sounds like the challenge you've been waiting for, let's talk.

What you'll help us build
  • Turn signals into pipeline - You'll spot market trends and bring them into action - designing, testing and scaling multiple engagement programs to drive qualified pipeline. You'll balance quick wins with big swings, always documenting what works so the entire team levels up from your experiments.

  • Craft outreach that actually resonates - You'll write and test messaging across personas, industries, and triggers, elevating conversations beyond features to business outcomes. From funding rounds to leadership changes, you'll know why it matters and create outreach that resonates - then package those learnings into repeatable playbooks.

  • Scale our ABX motion - Act as a strategic peer to AEs to penetrate priority accounts through differentiated engagement. You'll uncover the strongest signals and messages that get our highest-value prospects to respond, and surface those insights to continually make the motion stronger.

  • Pioneer AI-powered GTM workflows - You'll be at the forefront of using AI tools to accelerate every stage of our commercial cycle, while providing feedback that makes these tools better for the entire team. You'll also support the operational foundation that makes it all possible.

What does an ideal background look like?
  • You have at least 2 years of go-to-market experience, ideally as an SDR at an early-stage vertical SaaS company

    • Nice to haves: Experience working within an AE/sales-led motion, experience with healthcare/medical device industry, familiarity with ABM strategies

  • You are an exceptional communicator with crisp, customer-focused writing skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling messages

    • Bonus points: You've led messaging for outbound before, have strong perspectives on what makes good vs. bad outreach (channels, tactics, messages), and/or have built outbound sequences from the ground up

  • You're driven by deep curiosity about our prospects, our motion, and the GTM landscape. It's never been enough for you to just do the work - you're at your best when you can understand how things work together, everything from how a prospect ticks to how automations work.

  • You're comfortable in uncharted territory. This is a first of its kind role at MedScout, and that's exactly what draws you to it. You are naturally confident in your ability to ask the right questions, document your learnings, and move quickly from strategy to impact with a bias towards action.

  • The GTM landscape is constantly evolving, and you have been experimenting with (and eager to master) a wide variety of modern GTM, ideally AI-based, tools.

  • You are highly collaborative and self-motivated, understanding how to work effectively across teams while balancing independence and knowing when to loop others in versus taking initiative.

How we'll evaluate you
  • Are you driving pipeline impact, measured by discovery meetings booked with our priority accounts?

  • Are you meaningfully crafting pipeline generation experiments that make MedScout stand out in the market?

  • Are you working cross-functionally with our GTM team to share your experiments, learnings, and AI workflows to level up the entire org?

  • Are you pushing yourself and others to be at the forefront of the GTM landscape, never settling for volume-based outreach, subpar messaging, or feeling capped by current tooling - instead building through and with tools to set new expectations of what's possible?

Are we a fit for each other?

At our stage, we believe how you operate is more important than what you'll do day-to-day. As an early team member, we're looking for individuals with strong alignment with the following core values.

  • Effort on our inputs: We prepare diligently, leave it all on the "field", and move on quickly. Focusing on good habits and work ethic, not individual outcomes, ultimately creates a winning culture and a successful company.

  • Earn Trust: We keep our commitments to our customers, partners, and each other. We listen attentively, speak candidly, and treat others respectfully. We strive to demonstrate empathy, inclusion, and intellectual honesty.

  • Intelligence Drives Operations: We learn continuously and have the humility to quickly recognize when our assumptions are wrong so we can readjust accordingly.

  • Take Decisive Action: The only sure path to continuous improvement is a hypothesis-driven approach with a bias for speed of experimentation.

  • Hire And Develop The Best: Good players like playing on good teams. We look to raise the bar with every hire and promotion. We work hard to identify and develop high potential.

For this role specifically, we'll work with you to define your ideal career path and help you make real strides. We see multiple evolution paths stemming from this role: everything from top-of-class AE to GTM operations leader, or pioneering entirely new functions as we scale.

What can you expect from us?
  • Fully covered healthcare and a great vision, dental, and 401k package.

  • You will feel heard. You will hear, "Yes, let's do that!" and then have the opportunity to execute your ideas successfully.

  • Remote first culture and quarterly on-sites with the rest of the MedScout Team.

  • We stay in nice hotels and eat well when we travel for work. No one feels like a badass walking into a Quality Inn.

  • Generous budget for learning and development + any tools you feel would make you more effective.

What's the interview process?
  1. Initial conversation with our Talent team

  2. A 45 minute Zoom call with our GTM Strategy & Operations Lead

  3. A 60 minute case study with a core group of the GTM team through a mock work example

  4. A 60 minute values-based interview with 3 members of the MedScout team

  5. Offer components presented to you in writing (we can talk about ranges beforehand)

  6. Three (3) Reference Calls. We expect to hear great things, so this is mainly to understand how to work best with you.

  7. Formal offer presented for your consideration.

MedScout embraces diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We believe the more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation who need it. We want you to be able to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. If you require any accommodation please let us know!
