As an Account Manager at EcoEnclose, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities for growth within accounts, and ensuring high retention and satisfaction.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, EcoAlly, and strategic partner, committed to helping our customers thrive while advancing our mission of sustainability.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven, fast-paced environment and is motivated by both results and relationships.

12-Month Key Goals: 

  • Manage minimum $4,000,000 book of business 
    • Maintain 20-80 customer accounts with top tier service 
  • Grow existing accounts 25% Year over Year  with enterprise and mid-market clients:
    • Expand on existing programs
    • Convert at 40% rate for new skus
    • Increase wallet share until total saturation 
  • Retain 90% of new customers after their first year 
    • Assess customer health quarterly-  75% of accounts in “Thriving” state
  • Work collaboratively with AE to onboard new customers as EcoAllys monthly  with speed and accuracy. Ensure seamless accounts transitions.
  • Deliver 95% of new sku projects & reorders on-time & error free 

 

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Retention

  • Proactively manage & grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and expansion strategies.
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on customer success and retention.
  • Monitor account health and usage data to proactively identify risk and engagement opportunities.

 

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Become an extension of your customer’s team through creating value with multiple channels within their organization
  • Understand customers’ sustainability goals and help them align with EcoEnclose solutions.
    • Provide a roadmap//plan on how to help customers achieve their sustainability metrics
  • Serve as a voice of the customer within EcoEnclose, advocating for their needs & driving product innovation

 

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders, quoting, and follow-up.
  • Maintain up-to-date account records and activities in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Creative, Assurance) to deliver seamless service with no surprises to your customers

 

Strategic Advising

  • Understand customers’ annual purchasing schedule to establish & manage ordering cadence
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to plan for new product launches & collaborate on annual objectives 
  • Act as a sustainability advisor and thought partner to help brands make more environmentally conscious choices.
  • Provide accurate sustainability reporting data to customers via EcoReports

Requirements

 

  • 4+ years of demonstrated success in sales, strategic growth roles, account management, &/or project management, in a B2B environment
  • Results oriented with a proven sales track record and consistency in achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets
  • Steadfast intuition and character as it relates to building trust with key contacts, finding problem-product fits, representing EcoEnclose’s sustainability vision, and driving results for our target brands packaging goals 
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tradeoffs and navigate unique stakeholder relationships 
  • Ability to generate and execute against a complex project plan & gantt chart 
  • Ability to prioritize against a large to-do list
  • An ambitious personal & professional growth mindset. Determination to grow your skillset, your earnings, and your contribution to EcoEnclose’s consistent double digit YoY growth

Benefits

 

  • $70,000 base salary with $10,000 to $80,000 in additional commission 
  • Competitive benefits package, including 401K, health, vision, and dental coverage.
  • Louisville, Colorado based role. Hybrid work environment.
