Job Description:

Job Disclosures:

Location: Denver, CO

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $62,613 to $70,440.  Compensation is based on location and experience. This role is also eligible for sales-target incentives.  

Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications for this position is April 21, 2025. Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if needed.

Position Overview: 

The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving bulk ticket sales and group bookings across the Meow Wolf Denver location. This role focuses on selling tickets in volume to corporate groups, institutions and travel partners to meet sales goals, while identifying creative opportunities to expand group sales channels. The Group Sales Coordinator works closely with internal teams to provide a seamless booking process, manage calendars, and support the overall growth of group sales revenue. This position requires a proactive approach, exceptional client communication, and a strong sales focus to drive results. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Group Sales & Revenue Generation: 

○ Proactively drive group sales to meet and exceed targeted goals for corporate, travel, and social group business segments. 

○ Actively identify and pursue new group sales opportunities across the Meow Wolf Denver location.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

○ Process incoming RFPs for groups. 

○ Actively sell group bookings to meet or exceed set sales goals. 

Collaboration on Private Events: 

○ Partner closely with the Director of Events and to identify opportunities to convert group bookings into private events. 

○ Provide detailed hand-offs and support to ensure a smooth transition from group sales to private event planning. 

Internal and External Coordination: 

○ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Marketing, Operations, and Event teams, to align sales strategies and deliver a seamless guest experience. 

○ Work with Leadership to create exclusive ticket products and event add-ons to drive sales.

○ Work with Event and Sales leadership to develop, solicit, and secure corporate and social group private events, ticket sales, and VIP experiences. 

Sales Tools, Metrics, and Analysis: 

○ Utilize CRM tools (e.g., TripleSeat) to manage leads, track progress, and report on sales performance.

Provide regular updates and reporting on group sales performance, pipeline, and key opportunities.

Share insights, analysis, and recommendations to optimize sales channels and increase conversion rates.

Marketing Support: 

○ Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure group sales have appropriate tools, collateral, and resources to attract and convert clients. 

○ Contribute ideas for promotions, campaigns, and events to support group sales efforts. 

○ Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing and local hotels, Convention & Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), and community partners to book individuals and groups.

○ Develop strategic sales channels to target major inbound conventions and secure advance ticket sales and private events. 

○ Work with internal/external teams to develop sales and marketing toolkits for assigned sales channels.

Event Coordination Support: 

○ Coordinate logistics for confirmed group bookings, ensuring exceptional client communication and satisfaction. 

○ Oversee post-event follow-ups, including gathering feedback, processing invoices, and generating repeat business opportunities. 

○ Manage administrative needs for events and groups, including placing holds, updating internal calendars, managing contracts, and processing payments. 

Other Duties: 

○ Perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications: 

● 2-4 years of experience in group sales, event sales, or a related field, ideally within entertainment, hospitality, or experiential venues. 

● Experience in exhibit/attraction operations preferred. 

● Experience in sales channels such as schools, groups, and hotels strongly preferred. 

● Relationships in the local community, including travel, hotels, and other sales channels. 

● High school diploma/GED required. 

● Valid Driver's License required. 

● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue. 

● Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

● Proficiency in CRM tools such as TripleSeat, Salesforce, or similar platforms. 

● Self-motivated, adaptable, and solution-driven in a fast-paced work environment. 

● Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive tasks confidently.

● Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and a client-first approach. 

● Computer savvy and capable of learning new systems and tools quickly. 

● High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a guest and team-forward mindset. 

Work Environment and physical demands: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required. 

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a variety of professional office, tradeshow, resort, and event environments. Occasional work in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines, and small and/or enclosed spaces. This job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. 

Physical Demands: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical ability to walk, stand, take stairs/slides/elevators, and navigate the elements during the day and night. Employee may be required to remain in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Work Schedule 

This is a full time position with a flexible schedule which includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

Supervisory Responsibility 

This position does not require supervisory responsibility. 

Travel 

Minimal travel is required for this position.
