About the RoleButton is creating new product lines to unlock marketing budgets from brands, advertisers, and sellers. The Principal Product Manager, Brand / Advertiser / Seller through partnering with third party platforms that support Brands, Advertisers, and Sellers. This Product Manager will lead this initiative from first principles: identifying target segments, problem statements prospective customers are facing, co-developing proof-of-concepts with high-intent partners, and translating validated hypotheses into scalable product offerings.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role — the successful candidate will build the foundation, not inherit it. Over time, as products mature and scope expands, this role is expected to evolve to include team leadership responsibilities.
- Develop a structured understanding of the brand, advertiser, and seller landscape; identify opportunity segments and prioritize the initial route to market in collaboration with the CEO, the Commercial team, and the SVP of Product.
- Lead discovery with partners: define and test product hypotheses, manage go/no-go decisions, and transition successful POCs into productized offerings.
- Create bold bets on how to create durable value at the intersection of creators and brands/advertisers/sellers.
- Design funding and budget-flow mechanisms in collaboration with PMs (Data PM, Creator PM, and Network PM) and GTM: establish how budgets are entered, paced, reconciled, and measured.
- Define success metrics: hypothesis velocity, experimentation cadence, total monthly budget activated, new-logo budget activated, and number of new Brand, Advertiser, and Seller networks / partners are onboarded.
- Serve as the product face to customers: participate directly in early prospect meetings, partner negotiations, and GTM workshops; represent Button’s perspective on performance marketing for sellers and brands.
- Collaborate with Creator PM and Full Service Network PM to ensure Brand, Advertiser, and Seller needs and insights inform Creator strategy.
- Develop a strong foundational AI powered strategy to support this motion and associated workflows
- Evaluate integration requirements for each target segment, partner, and channel; ensure products comply with relevant marketplace and attribution rules.
- Deliver tangible outcomes: validated hypotheses and design partners within 90 days; active funded pilots within 180 days; and $2M+ in run-rate revenue from new product lines within 9 months.
- Work with a dedicated engineering squad, shared design and analytics resources, and collaborate closely with cross-functional leads to bring new concepts to market efficiently.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, ideally building 0→1 products for marketing, retail media, or marketplace/seller ecosystems.
- Strong market orientation: able to form a deep understanding of brands, advertisers, and sellers,, and translate their commercial goals into product strategy.
- Experience designing or operating budget and funding flows; familiarity with marketing and ad tech, affiliate, or retail media business models.
- Hands-on and analytical: comfortable in customer meetings, prototyping sessions, and revenue modeling discussions.
- AI focused product manager who pushes the envelope with new technology and capabilities and has experience working with various AI tools
- Proven track record of delivering early-stage products that moved from prototype to measurable commercial traction.
- Operates as a founder: decisive, data-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete information.

Button’s total compensation package includes a base salary competitive with what is offered by similar companies in major US markets. The salary range for this role in the United States is expected to be between $236,000 and $306,000 (offered salary is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above). In addition, Button provides employees with a 401(k) plan and automatically contributes 3% of an employee’s salary annually.
