The SNG Group President will lead the organizing, training, and equipping of the Group subsidiary leaders and tactical execution elements. The SNG Group President will collaborate with business development and SNG Leaders to build and deepen nascent capability and competency areas for SNG, including supporting the business development team in new opportunities targeted for the group. A key outcome will be to identify emerging areas of depth and support the business planning to expand those areas such that they can be marketed as standalone offerings or capabilities. The SNG Group President will collaborate with subsidiary leaders within and outside of the Group to create synergy across SNG’s matrixed offerings. The SNG Group President will coordinate with corporate support services provided by Seneca Holdings and be instrumentally involved in strategic initiatives focused on effectively scaling the Group.

- Participates in strategic planning to include continual and ongoing identification of emerging and/or synergistic capabilities/competencies in the Group, and works with the SNG President and SNG leaders to foster and mature those areas with the goal of adding new Practices and/or Groups to SNG
- Provides reports on Group activities as required by SNG and SH leadership
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains subsidiary leadership and Group operations team members
- Implements succession planning to protect SNG in leadership transition and unexpected non-availability
- Creates and sustains enabling lines of communications between the selling and supporting components of Seneca Nation Group
- Collaborate with subsidiary presidents within and outside of the Group to create synergy across SNG’s matrixed offerings
- Embraces and communicates the mission of Seneca Holdings to all team members
- Reinforces and displays the values of the organization, SNG’s growth leader characteristics and unique operating model of “Speed, Simplicity, and Trust”, and supports the culture of the organization
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement and works with the selling, serving, and supporting leadership to mature the organization
- Supports the budget process but manages to outcomes, not to budgets
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet Group goals while supplying expertise and guidance on company projects and initiatives as relevant and warranted
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
- Ensures that Group staffing, development, organization, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision
- In coordination and collaboration with SNG leadership, establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
- Supports the development of the Group and relevant subsidiary budgets – but manages to outcomes, not to budgets
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Seneca Holdings policy
- Monitors the competitive landscape and shares relevant insights with the broader team
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or industry-related field required; Master’s in industry-related field preferred
- At least 15 years of government industry-specific experience including five years in upper management required
