The Graphic Designer will be a key part of the Marketing Team, and will be responsible for the ideation and creation of best-in-class marketing materials. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is ultimately responsible for bringing VGV’s brand messaging and visual identity to life through robust graphic design, video, and photography.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on creative designer and strategic thinker, capable of producing high-quality, visually stunning materials that drive awareness, engagement, and new business opportunities. This role will partner closely with the marketing team and internal departments, and will effectively coordinate and manage various stakeholders and creative projects.
Key Responsibilities● Graphic Design: Create visually stunning, on-brand marketing materials, including one-pagers, case studies, social media collateral, emails, and website content.
● UX/UI Design: Ensure a cohesive, immersive website experience through UX/UI-designed layouts and customer journeys.
● Videography & Photography: Source, create, edit, and direct beautifully branded videos and photos for VGV’s website, social channels, events, and more.
● Brand Positioning: Drive and enhance VGV’s brand awareness and market position by crafting and designing compelling visuals that align with integrated brand messaging, content, and marketing strategies.
● Creative Direction: Partner with content writers and copywriters to provide high-level creative direction, feedback, edits, and updates to all visual and marketing collateral.
● Creative Vendor Support: Partner with marketing leadership to oversee and collaborate with creative vendors, including external agencies, freelancers, stock photography and video sites, and events and swag vendors.
Qualifications● Experience: 5+ years experience in graphic and visual design, with experience in UX/UI, photography, videography, and creative direction.
● Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear and concise integrated brand messaging across various media and owned platforms.
● Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop beautiful and highly branded visual content and collateral that aligns with VGV’s marketing and company strategies.
● Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate, partner, and influence across marketing verticals, company departments, and third-party agencies and vendors.
Accountable for:1. Upholding VGV’s visual identity and owning graphic design and visual collateral creation.
2. Ensuring the company is properly positioned across all internal and external platforms and channels.
3. Delivery of marketing collateral across websites, social media channels, events, email, blog, and more.
Total RewardsVGV wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial annual base salary for this position in the U.S. is expected to range from $70k - $90k. We benchmark every role based on location and against comparable companies to ensure competitiveness; however, actual compensation depends on experience, skills, qualifications and other job-related factors.
