Academian India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a strong focus on print design. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing layouts for books, magazines and educational content, with a solid grasp of typography, margins, sidebars and headers.
Role Overview:
The Graphic Designer plays a key role in conceptualizing and executing visually compelling designs for both print and digital media. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including editorial, marketing, and production—to bring educational programs, products, and marketing materials to life. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience in print design.
Strong understanding of typography, layout design and print production.
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Portfolio showcasing relevant print design projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Concept and design programs, products, and marketing materials for the client.
- Collaborate with design and editorial teams in the creation of new programs and products.
- Partner with internal teams, including editorial, marketing, photo, video, and production, as needed.
- Work with illustrators, photographers, agencies, and other vendors as directed.
- Adhere to corporate best practices, guidelines, and production schedules as set by the Creative Director.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in the Educational Publishing industry.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, creative environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to pivot quickly between assignments and maintain attention to detail.
