THE ROLE 

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing high-quality creative assets that support the partnership sales efforts of Legends Global Partnerships across the NFL and U.S. professional sports. This individual will play a key role in bringing partnership ideas and brand activations to life through compelling visual storytelling and design. 

This individual will support the development of custom pitch presentations, partnership concepts, activation mockups, research briefs, and other sales materials. The role will require the ability to translate strategic ideas into engaging, polished visual solutions that effectively communicate the value of partnership opportunities to prospective brands. 

The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with Creative Services, partnership strategy, sales leadership, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop creative work that aligns with client objectives, brand standards, and the overall partnership strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strong conceptual thinker, highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines. 

The position reports to the Senior Director of Creative Services. 

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Concept and design a wide variety of graphics for website, sales application, partner pitches, sales center and other digital marketing channels.  

  • Think “outside the box” to generate innovative graphic content to tell sales stories in a dynamic way.  

  • Ensure projects stay on track by handling multiple moving pieces simultaneously from origin to execution.  

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities.  

  • Communicate directly with partnerships executives and internal teams to ensure the brand guidelines are met in all collateral representing Legends and our clients. 

  • Manage relationships with internal and third-party vendors and resources. 

  • Work with Senior Director of Creative Services on other content needed for projects, such as outreach campaigns, one-sheeters, micro-sites, video production, etc. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Digital Art & Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a closely related field. 

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac; specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with After Effects and Adobe Premiere is highly encouraged and considered a strong plus. 

  • Experience creating motion graphics, animation, and/or video content is also preferred. 

  • Advanced knowledge of digital best practices, layout design, and typography. 

  • Advanced understanding of digital formats across screen sizes and devices. 

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong attention to detail. 

  • Superior computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with macOS, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and various creative and web-based software. 

  • Ability to quickly earn and maintain trust with internal teams, clients, and cross-functional partners. 

  • Ability to manage multiple design projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven weekly workflow. 

  • Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to bring ideas and partnership concepts to life through compelling design, animation, and video. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Digital Art & Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a closely related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience within the creative/design industry 

COMPENSATION 

$75,000 and $10,000 incentive with generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan. 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Location: Hybrid in a major US market (Minimum 3 days in office - New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, or Washington, D.C. preferred)
