Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Government Contracts Administrator to manage and support the lifecycle of federal and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal regulations while coordinating contract documentation, modifications, and communication between internal teams and external partners.

This role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with government contracting regulations, and the ability to manage multiple contracts in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration

Manage the lifecycle of government contracts from proposal through closeout.
Review contracts, modifications, and task orders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate contract documentation and maintain organized contract files.

Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.
Support internal audits and regulatory reviews.
Assist with contract risk analysis and mitigation strategies.

Cross-Department Coordination

Work closely with program managers, finance teams, and legal staff to ensure contract obligations are met.
Track deliverables, reporting deadlines, and contractual milestones.
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding contractual requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
Prepare contract status reports for leadership.
Monitor compliance documentation and submission deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in contract administration or government contracting.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification.
Experience supporting defense or federal agency contracts.
Familiarity with contract management systems.
