Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. 

  • Estimated annual base pay:  $126,000.00(minimum) - $157,500.00(midpoint) - $189,000.00(maximum)

 Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Global Supplier Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  Management of global supply base to maximize performance and leverage to positively impact financial performance of all Woodward business groups. Includes all aspects of commercial and contractual management of the assigned suppliers. Key focus is the selection and development of the supply base to match Woodward's future needs, but also includes support of the business group based purchasing functions in the areas of strategic alignment and critical issue escalation.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Strategy Development (supply base/market knowledge, business integration, deployment planning, internal alignment, global awareness): Autonomous development of complex sub-commodity strategies - critical input to commodity and supply chain strategies
  • Contract Mgmt/Negotiation: Leads development of negotiation strategies for complex contracts
  •  Strategy Development/Deployment: Contribution to development of non-sourcing business group strategies. Ability to drive strategy that impacts business group direct on strategy. Demonstrated value and contribution through leverage and integration of complete market factor influences
  •  Supplier Relationship Management: Autonomous development and execution of relationship management strategies of complex (1-many) relationships at high levels with suppliers
  •  Analytics: Effective integration of internal and external data source to drive activity. Ability to discern effectiveness of metrics and goals to drive desired results

What We Are Looking For 

  • US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) 
  • 5-10 years Strategic Sourcing experience
