Position Overview
The Global PR Coordinator will act as a close partner to the Global Communications lead, supporting the execution, coordination, and insight-gathering that powers K18’s global PR, partnerships, and storytelling efforts. This role is both operational and collaborative — helping manage day-to-day PR needs while serving as a trusted right hand to ensure larger strategic initiatives run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
PR Operations & Execution
- Manage PR sample orders and launch mailers across globally, including retailer PR requests, timelines, and shipment tracking
- Coordinate early PR product needs by aligning quantities, destinations, and launch timing with internal teams and agency partners
- Support ongoing media requests, ensuring timelines are met and inbound/outbound shipments are tracked accurately
- Manage review seeding programs including shipments and timelines
- Provide scheduling and meeting coordination support as needed across PR, partnerships, and agency workstreams
Strategic Support & Insight Gathering
- Track and surface media trends, emerging press angles, and competitor activity to support global PR strategy discussions
- Manage weekly, monthly and ad hoc press reporting across global markets
- Assist in the preparation of recap decks, reports, and insight documents used for cross-functional planning and leadership updates
- Review and track press coverage to ensure links direct to authorized retailers and all product information is accurate and up to date
Press, Partnerships & Founder Support
- Assist in execution of press requests, including coordinating materials, scheduling, timelines, and follow-ups with strategic guidance from manager
- Help organize and track partnership-related PR needs in collaboration with creative, internal stakeholders, and agency teams
Launches, Events & Activations
- Support PR events and experiential activations with purchasing, sourcing, packing, shipping, and on-site coordination as needed
- Assist in managing timelines, materials, and post-event recaps in partnership with agency teams
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
- Submit, process, and track POs and invoices in partnership with agencies, third-party vendors and finance
- Organize and distribute assets, product decks, and launch materials to media, partners, and internal teams
- Maintain organized trackers, timelines, and documentation that keep global PR efforts aligned and running smoothly
What Success Looks Like
- Day-to-day PR execution runs smoothly with minimal oversight.
- Key insights, trends, and reporting are proactively surfaced, not just tracked.
- Launches and press moments are well-organized, allowing PR lead to focus on strategy and storytelling.
- The PR lead is supported as a true partner, not pulled into executional details.
Ideal Candidate
- 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand marketing (beauty, fashion, lifestyle preferred).
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable anticipating needs.
- Strong written communication and ability to synthesize information into clear takeaways.
- Curious about media, culture, trends, and storytelling.
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and external partners.
Salary Range: 36.00/hr (in USD $)
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
