Atlassian is seeking a driven and experienced Global Mobility Manager to join our People Ops Team, reporting to the Global Mobility Operations Lead. You will serve as the regional point of contact on matters related to program management in areas of relocation, immigration, and tax.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the APAC Global Mobility Program. You will get to:
  • Manage Atlassian's APAC immigration program and profile - create, monitor, and review robust processes to ensure immigration compliance with local laws; partner with our immigration vendor to ensure efficient delivery of immigration services, partner with internal teams to build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders.
  • Partner with our global relocation company to manage a high volume of relocations within the APAC region; be the escalation point of contact for policy queries and complex cases.
  • Partner with our global tax vendor to manage tax services provided to our relocating employees and to support the preparation of tax efficient strategies for assignments.
  • Design, implement and manage effective and scalable mobility policies with employee experience at the forefront.
  • Manage mobility policy exceptions and escalations, ensuring relevant stakeholders are consulted and matters are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Talent Acquisition, HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Tax, Equity, Compensation and Benefits to design and execute mobility related initiatives, e.g. Internal Mobility, Team Anywhere (remote work), mergers and acquisitions.
  • Work on a wide variety of projects, both domestic and international and provide global mobility guidance.
  • Responsible for managing both regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and track vendor invoices, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Provide support and coach the Operation Specialists; advocate for the Global Mobility function across the organisation; assist the Global Mobility Operations Lead with global projects and processes as required; partner with a team of Global Mobility Managers in our other regions across the globe.

Experience required
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant working experience within APAC Global Mobility/HR.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing APAC immigration programs including detailed understanding of work and business visa requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relocation and tax services within a mobility program.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, including the ability to prepare and facilitate training sessions for internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and management of internal and external stakeholders e.g. cross- functional teams and Government authorities.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Workday experience a plus.
