DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Support a team of macro, fixed income, currency and commodity strategists that provide top down asset class views. Support the GIS business in JPM Global Wealth Management clients through a variety of functions. Research and analyze the global macroeconomic landscape and fixed income markets. Research modelling asset classes for potential future outcomes. Create outlooks for themes and how they may effect and interact with different asset classes and create novel ways to estimate the value of different asset classes. Create related presentations, white papers, and media content, to be shared globally with JPMC advisors and clients. Present company views to internal and external clients. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as a Global Investment Strategist, Program Associate/Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires three (3) years of experience in the following: Multifactor regression modelling; Timeseries data analysis; Excel and Python for financial modeling; Predictive modeling utilizing Bloomberg, FactSet and Excel; performing statistical analysis using machine learning methods, logistic regression, multivariate regression, classification techniques, attribution, cohort analysis, and associative rule mining; analyzing financial markets using Excel and Powerpoint; designing and developing interactive Excel and Powerpoint reports with advanced functionalities including lookup, index match, data analysis add-ons, pivots, VBA and VBScript, macro, and fixed income fundamentals; analyzing investments within economics and fixed income asset classes; developing investment ideas and insights with portfolio managers, investment advisors, and financial professional clients in a large financial institution setting.
Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $155,000 - $160,000 per year.
