About the Role

The Implementation Director will be responsible for leading multiple teams of implementation leaders, project managers, and implementation consultants. This individual will drive the overall strategy and execution of our implementation services, ensuring successful client onboarding and adoption of our HCM solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and scaling teams, optimizing processes, and fostering a high-performance culture in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of implementation leaders, project managers, and consultants, ensuring alignment with company objectives and best practices.
  • Develop and implement scalable team structures to support rapid growth and evolving customer needs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by establishing clear goals, expectations, and professional development opportunities.

Implementation Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the implementation strategy, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and successful adoption of the platform.
  • Develop and refine implementation methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to optimize deployment timelines and outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, team performance, and customer experience.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Establish repeatable and scalable processes to support high-volume implementations while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement metrics-driven approaches to track and optimize team performance, project delivery, and client success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering) to improve the implementation lifecycle and customer journey.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as an executive escalation point for high-profile implementations, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and resolution.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on customer expectations.
  • Act as a thought leader, providing strategic insights and feedback to influence product development and customer experience improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in implementation, professional services, or customer success, preferably within a SaaS or HCM technology environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing large implementation teams in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling teams, processes, and organizational structures to support hyper-growth.
  • Strong project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing best-in-class methodologies, such as Agile, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of HCM technology, payroll, benefits administration, talent management, and workforce solutions (preferred).
