The Role:
The Global Health and Well-Being Analyst will report to the Manager, Global Health and Well-Being and will lead the strategic development of health and well-being benefit programs. The Analyst will be responsible for aligning program design with the business strategy, goals, and objectives of General Motors. This role will develop multi-year strategies to improve the health and well-being of GM employees and family members. This position will interface with senior management and key internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation in global health and well-being.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate. The salary range for this role is $98,900 to $158,000.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

What You'll Do:
- Establish global health and well-being strategy and framework, that is globally applicable and culturally relevant
- Drive innovation in global health and well-being program development that improves employee health and well-being and aligns to strategic framework
- Assess the industry and determine leading solutions that improve overall employee well-being
- Develop and manage multi-year strategies for the company's health and well-being programs - including salaried and hourly employees and retirees
- Communicate and interface with internal stakeholders including the U.S Health Care Team, Legal, Tax, Finance, Labor, union leadership and other functional areas, as required, related to the health and well-being strategy and benefit plan design and policies
- Using data driven decisions, develop and propose strategic recommendations on global health and well-being programs to stay aligned with changes in the benefits market and the organization's demographic make-up
- Identify the needs of employees and translate those into meaningful health & well-being benefit solutions
- Establish metrics to determine the success of strategy and health and well-being programs
- Stay current on the regulatory environment and lead emerging policy initiatives
Additional Description
Your Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, finance or related field or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in employer health care and well-being programs within a large matrixed organization
- Strong industry expertise with a proven track record of innovation
- Ability to evaluate benefit plan efficiency through data analysis, network assessments, contracting and implementation; experience with hospital and/or physician contract arrangements is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact comfortably with employees and leaders at all levels and a proven ability to work in a team environment
