GLO Repair & Maintenance Automation/AI Technician

Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Performs repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly. Troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. May perform equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks. Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience
• At least 4-6 years of experience with manufacturing maintenance or as manufacturing technician
• May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Working knowledge in the field of electro mechanical technology.
• Familiarity with calibration and preventive maintenance execution processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA, IPC-A-610 or other regulatory standards.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Preferred Technical Skills:

• AI Knowledge and/or Automation knowledge
• Network and software development knowledge
