About the Role

We’re looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Finance team at a fast-paced, global SaaS company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to tackle complex problems, support multiple business functions, and partner closely with executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented, proactive communicator who brings precision to their work and can adapt quickly in a landscape of change.

This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional impact, you’ll work closely with teams across the business including FP&A, Legal, GTM, and Operations. We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically strong, but who can bring clarity to ambiguity, drive operational improvements, and jump in wherever needed to support the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency

  • Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

  • Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls

  • Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for our global entities

  • Present financial insights and operational risks to executive leadership, enabling strategic decisions

  • Serve as a resource for the broader accounting team, stepping in wherever needed to support coverage, special projects, or shifting priorities

  • Collaborate on ad-hoc financial projects involving data synthesis, modeling, and scenario planning

  • Support accounting for complex SaaS transactions, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and commissions.

Qualities that will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment

  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SaaS-specific accounting considerations

  • Experience working in a global business environment with multi-entity consolidations

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar)

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Proven experience communicating effectively across functions and levels, including with executive leadership

  • High degree of resilience and problem-solving ability in the face of change, ambiguity, and complexity

  • Comfortable managing competing priorities with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through

  • Team player mentality with a willingness to step in and support broader team needs beyond core responsibilities.

More Details

The base salary for this role is between $100,000 - $140,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
