Accrete is seeking a strategic and experienced General Counsel to lead its legal function and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This role is central to guiding Accrete’s legal strategy as the company expands its dual-use AI platform across federal and commercial markets.
The General Counsel will oversee all core legal activities, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include advising executive leadership and the Board on legal and business matters, managing corporate transactions and partnerships, and developing policies that uphold the highest legal and ethical standards. The role also involves leading intellectual property strategy, supporting crisis management, and guiding legal aspects of product development and market initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of progressive legal experience in technology, AI, or government contracting, with deep expertise in corporate law, contracts, compliance, and regulatory affairs. A strong understanding of federal procurement law, cybersecurity, and data privacy is essential, as is a proven ability to provide pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are required, along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to ethical practices.
