What is your role? 

As a Gameplay Developer for Eleventh Hour Games, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks across many parts of the game, including new feature development, debugging, optimization, and more. You will be encouraged to use your experience and expertise to provide innovative solutions to design and development. The perfect candidate has strong design sensibilities, excellent communication skills, and autonomy as you will be working with a fully remote team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of game development experience in a programming role
  • Experience working on at minimum one shipped title
  • Strong knowledge of game engine systems and performance, as well as data structures and algorithms
  • Proficiency in writing clean, readable, and efficient code

Pluses:

  • Strong proficiency in Unity game engine and C# programming language
  • Experience optimizing game CPU, memory, and rendering performance
  • Passion for ARPGs or similar multiplayer titles a huge plus

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and improvements for the game
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, optimize code, and improve overall game stability
  • Conduct thoughtful and constructive code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team
