As a Game Level Designer, you will:
- Design and balance appealing levels, missions, and experiences from concept, to creation using internal tools.
- Design the structure and the order of levels to create an ideal progression for the player.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts to understand level performance through analytics and adjust levels accordingly.
- Adjust and modify designs and the game levels based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback
- Working with a talented and cross-discipline team to grow the product by adding new levels while also continuously improving the existing game experience.
- Communicate design clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio
- Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through progressive & creative design
Game Level Designer role requires:
- A consistent 5+ years track record of (relevant and released) Casual and/or Hybrid Casual games, at least 3+ years specifically on Hybrid/Casual Puzzles.
- Profound insight into the level balancing, pacing & difficulty tuning
- Solid problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
- Independent, self-motivated, driving new initiatives to improve the game.
- Strong empathic ability to understand and “feel” our target audience
- You embrace F2P and enjoy working with KPIs and analytics to adjust your designs in data-driven decisions
- Learning and applying collected player feedback
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in data spreadsheets and working with analytical and technical tools
- Ability to work with remote teams
