Provides customer service and sales support in event gift shops at Ball Arena and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Greets guests, recommends merchandise, processes POS transactions, maintains inventory, restocks and cleans shops, implements plan-o-grams, supports event setup, and promotes merchandise and events. Requires flexibility for late nights, weekends, holidays, and varying duties, plus the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND ABLE TO WORK EVENTS, INCLUDING LATE NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS INLCUDING CHRISTMAS AND OTHER HOLIDAYS.
- Honesty and integrity in all actions and language with the ability to engage diverse fan groups
- Must be able to take constructive feedback, make necessary changes, and improve performance
- Excellent customer service and selling skills
- Accuracy in open & close procedures along with accuracy in cash handling
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in retail or customer service environment
- Innovative & self-starter, who can work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for 35-40+ hours per week, flexible to assist in other areas as needed.
- Flexibility in Duties & responsibilities as needed in other areas
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
- Greet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendations in Store and via phone if necessary
- Excellent accuracy when using POS systems
- Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisor
- Present merchandise to increase sales with add on items
- Must be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use
- Keep current on promotions & sales in store: and events at the arena or stadium
- Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts. Assist in inventory
- Continually increase knowledge of products, facility, and all events held at Ball Arena & Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
- Must be able to read & implement plan-o-grams
- Assist with store set-up and the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixtures
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while safeguarding customer information by adhering to data protection policies and procedures
- Complete other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required and assigned by supervisor/ manager
- Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time, bend, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, reach up over your head to stock top rows, hear and communicate with guests in English, work in loud and crowded environments.
