Opportunity Overview: 

Technergetics is seeking to hire a full-stack Software Engineer II who brings a solid track record of full-stack development with a focus on modern front-end technologies and robust back-end services. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident working across the stack, eager to take ownership of features, and excited about integrating emerging AI tools.

Position Details      

Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on how many position qualifications the candidate meets, in addition to education and experience. This is a full-time exempt position.   

Location/Travel/Remote Performance:    

100% remote performance is possible for this position and Technergetics will consider candidates from across the United States. 

This position is expected to include 10% travel to company, client or customer sites.

Responsibilities and Duties    

The day-to-day activities of this position support our software portfolios by:

• Developing modern, responsive UIs using React and TypeScript
• Building scalable backend services (Go, Node, Python) realized with GraphQL
• Working with databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, and graph databases (e.g. Memgraph)
• Contributing to infrastructure automation using Docker and GitLab CI/CD

Education and Certifications:

This project requires, at minimum, graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering or closely related discipline. 

Qualifications: 

• At least three years of full-stack development experience preferred
• Comfortable jumping between frontend, backend, and infrastructure tasks
• Take initiative, communicate clearly, and collaborate well in a distributed team
• Motivated to learn new efficiencies in the intersection of software, data, and AI

Client-Side:

• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
• Familiarity with UI design systems, HTML, and CSS
• Bonus: Exposure to Vitest and React Native

Server-Side:

• Proficiency with TypeScript and Go (Golang)
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs, ideally with Apollo Router
• Comfortable with relational and in-memory databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Bonus: Experience writing SQL or Cypher queries

DevOps / Infra:

• Experience working with Docker
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Bonus: Exposure to Terraform or similar automation tools

AI / ML Integration:

• Working knowledge of Python
• Familiarity with LangChain or LLM APIs (OpenAI, vLLM, Ollama)
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems

Clearance:    

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, SECRET access to classified information.
