We are looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer who will imbed within the Quality and Integration Management (DQIM) organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining new and existing software programs and associated information-technology tools utilized by the DQIM organization to deliver F-35 sustainment data products and sustainment support activities.
The candidate will perform front-end and back-end software development, testing, and implementation.
As the sole software engineer for this team, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional project management skills by driving your projects from end-to-end while employing the software development lifecycle. You will set daily tasking under general supervision from management, meet with internal and external stakeholders to resolve and implement requirements, and report progress to management regularly. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Full-stack software engineering and implementation.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Determine operational feasibility by coordinating with management, information technology, security, and export control personnel.
- Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments utilizing available toolsets.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code utilizing: Angular, Java, Spring, Tableau, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, XML; and develop front end graphical user interface.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to support the F-35 Data Quality and Integration Management (DQIM) team's goal of accurately and efficiently delivering critical F-35 life limited data products.
- Contribute to and maintain engineering and reengineering documentation, metrics, data forensics, process improvement, and affordability initiatives.
- Perform assessments of internal and supplier ADBOM, EEL, and IUID submittals during F-35 Aircraft DD250, ferry preparation, and sustainment operations.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to understand issues and needs, support prioritizing, determining solutions, and implementation of Action Requests (AR) resolution.

- Hands-on experience working with Electronic Equipment Logbooks and/or tracking of Life Limited items.
- Development of Aircraft/Aviation System Bills-of-Material (BOM)/Structures.
- Use of TeamCenter (PDM/LDM) to review and verify Design and Logistics Data.
- Quality Assurance or Configuration Management related to data or systems integration.
- Reading, Interpreting, and Writing eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
