About the Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Full Stack Engineer, Healthcare Interoperability will bring expertise in backend development using Java and/or Python and frontend development using Angular or React. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications while ensuring best practices in coding, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java/Python for backend and Angular/React (or similar technologies) for frontend.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs, integrate with third-party services, and contribute to microservices architecture.
- Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP); implement and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or ECW; understand healthcare data structures, HL7, FHIR standards, and interoperability frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Experience with EMR systems and healthcare technology is required.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Angular or React for frontend development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Strong debugging and optimization skills.
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator in Agile environments.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs.
