Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA. to support the development of a web-based application providing data ingest, archival, retrieval as well as display and dissemination to users. Support will include web-application development, backend database creation/management.

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA. to support the development of a web-based application providing data ingest, archival, retrieval as well as display and dissemination to users. Support will include web-application development, backend database creation/management.
Responsibilities:
- Flush out and document application requirements from customer requests, while coordinating with the product manager to ensure tasking is within scope of project.
- Implement new application functionality using development languages such as shell scripting, python, Java and JavaScript. This can include front end development as well as back end database processing.
- Work with other front-end and back-end developers on the team to ensure the technical requirements are met in the overall application architecture.
- Work with UI/UX experts and power users to build an intuitive and well researched application.
- Attend daily Scrum meetings to go over current tasking and identify any blockers on current/future tasks.
- Test application features as they are developed to ensure requirements are being met.
- Demonstrate any software deliverables to the product manager/team at the end of the sprint cycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong experience with JavaScript (Hono.js) and Python (fastapi)
- Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript (Vue.js) and Tailwindcss
- Experience with DevOps (CDKTF/terraform)
- Experience with relational database design and SQL query workflows
- Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph
- Willingness to work onsite full time
- US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building chat interfaces and working with LLMs via API
- Experience working with Docker Containers for development (Podman)
- Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS)
- Familiarity with Git for source control
