Arke is actively searching for a highly skilled Front-end developer. This position is suitable for someone who is advancing in their career but not yet considered a senior developer. You'll work on front-end development initiatives within a collaborative team environment, alongside our developers in Brazil and the US. You will contribute to the creation of intuitive, appealing, and performant web applications for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a passion for innovation, staying ahead of emerging technologies, and a thirst for learning.
Code samples are required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with team members and clients to design and implement high-quality solutions based on technical and business requirements
- Use modern development standards and tools to create software applications that delight users
- Produce detailed documentation, test plans, and maintain well-documented, clean, and efficient code
- Foster trusted partnerships with coworkers and clients
- Develop interactive prototypes to explore innovative UI solutions
- Develop tested and documented TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Build responsive and cross-browser compatible applications optimized for desktop and mobile
- Adhere strictly to branding guidelines and UX standards
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and management
What We’d Love to See
- 2–4 years of professional front-end development experience
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Proven professional experience using React
- Familiarity with Git workflows and branch strategies
- Experience with browser compatibility testing and debugging
- Strong understanding of UI design principles and layout aesthetics
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
Soft Skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Be reliable and dependable, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments
Nice to have
- Professional experience with Next.js
- Experience with additional front-end frameworks
- Experience with various with content management systems (CMS)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields
This is an independent contractor role, not W-2 employment. The benefits package is not applicable for independent contractors.
