We are looking for a Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Vail Streamside. In this position, you will ensure every interaction with an owner or guest is a positive and memorable experience while checking them in and out of the property and responding to their requests. Compensation: $21-$23/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional welcome.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and billing.
  • Handle guest reservations, amendments, and cancellations, maintaining an organized booking system.
  • Answer guest inquiries and provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as room upgrades, late check-outs, or additional amenities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, such as coordinating with housekeeping for room readiness.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback, aiming to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Stay updated on hotel promotions, events, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining guest records.
Qualifications
  • Previous front desk experience in a hospitality setting is strongly preferred 
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on active listening.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in using front desk software and basic computer applications.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and guest needs.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and improve, staying updated on industry trends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
