We want proven sales individuals, possess a book of business, to build our United States footprint and get paid well to do so!!

- Represent SumUp professionally in the field, acting as a trusted face of the brand in local communities and merchant networks.
- Promote SumUp’s mission and solutions with authenticity and enthusiasm.
- Build strong visibility in target territories (e.g. through local outreach, referrals, events).
- Ensure a smooth and professional experience from first contact to activation.
- Act as a local advisor—listening to merchant needs, offering relevant solutions, and supporting onboarding.
- Help merchants feel confident in using SumUp tools for their business
Fast, self paced product training/certification provided
- May aim to activate merchants within the first 2–4 weeks, though ramp-up timelines may vary.
- Begin driving revenue and closing deals independently by the end of month 1.
- Build momentum through referrals and local networking to scale impact over time.
- Source leads independently via cold outreach, networking, events, or referrals.
- Qualify and educate potential merchants based on SumUp’s Ideal Customer Profile (e.g. small retail, services, food & beverage).
- Deliver confident pitches and close deals autonomously.
- Clearly explain SumUp’s US product suite (POS, loyalty, invoicing tools).
- Confidently handle objections around pricing, tech, and competitors.
- Adapt messaging based on merchant needs and industry.
- Typically achieve 6–10 activations/month, though individual results may vary depending on their current business.
- Contribute to revenue targets through closed deals and successful onboardings.
