Nanobit, a Stillfront Group studio, is looking for a highly experienced freelance game balancer to strengthen Big Farm: Merge Game, our free to play mobile Merge-2 title. This is a hands-on role for someone senior enough to jump straight in and add value from day one.
Setup: Fully remote, start as soon as possible. Duration and weekly hours are flexible and scale with workload.
YOUR MISSIONDesign, build and maintain gameplay systems with long term feature reusability in mind, aimed at maximising player engagement, effective monetisation and retention
Continuously refine features and events by combining player feedback, data analysis and AI insights
Build expected progression models in Excel or Google Sheets to predict how players move through the game
Use AI tools heavily in your daily work to boost your own output and keep the player experience cutting edge
Document and present your work through user stories, flowcharts and wireframes so every team and stakeholder stays aligned
Transfer and adapt proven mechanics from other genres
Deep expertise in F2P mobile games, experiences with Merge-2 games is a big plus
Strong grasp of LiveOps dynamics, including monetisation strategies, in game economies and community feedback
A real ownership mindset and the drive to get things done, getting your hands dirty in Google Sheets, ChatGPT and other AI tools
Resilient, detail oriented and a team player who keeps looking for ways to lift performance
Excellent written and spoken English
