As a Creative Strategist, you'll develop and manage creative strategies for paid social campaigns, ensuring alignment with goals, overseeing ad creation, and analyzing performance metrics.
As a Creative Strategist, you’ll drive the creative engine behind our paid social campaigns—building compelling ads, collaborating across teams, and turning insights into action. This role bridges the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring every piece of creative is aligned with performance goals and optimized for results. This is a contract, freelance position for a 14-week project.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Leadership
-Own the creative strategy for assigned clients in partnership with the Paid Social -Strategist ensuring alignment with overarching paid social strategy.
-Develop Conversion Creative -focused ad concepts, and creative briefs that align with campaign goals.
-Provide guidance on photoshoot and videoshoots for assigned clients externally and internally
-Collaborate with Scriptors to ensure creative direction and messaging match platform best practices and performance objectives.
-Lead creative syncs and touchpoints throughout the lifecycle of each creative package or test.
-Research and disseminate best practices across platforms, ad formats, and industry trends.
-Translate media plans and funnel strategies into creative briefs tailored to platforms like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
-Create and maintain content maps that align creative assets to funnel stages and targeting groups.
Project Management & Cross-Team Collaboration
-Act as the internal project manager between the AdOps and Creative teams for all assigned clients.
-Create and manage tasks for upcoming/ongoing creative packages, ensuring timelines and deliverables are clear.
-Communicate expectations and coordinate across departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
-Owns cross-functional relationship with influencer team, providing them with insights on influencer ad performance and future ad needs.
Execution & Quality Assurance
-Responsible for all ad copy and ad creation directly in-platform for assigned clients.
-Send design creative requests andproduction briefswith clear performance context.
-QA all creative assets before client delivery—including:
-Initial QA once the creative team has approved assets
-Final review to ensure the creative meets platform specs, strategy, and performance goals
Reporting & Insights
-Own and manage creative reporting dashboards in Motion.
-Regularly analyze creative performance, identifying top-performing elements and flagging areas for optimization.
-Provide clear, actionable insights during internal Client L10s and QBRs alongside the Paid Social Strategist.
Cross-Team Collaboration&Execution & Quality Assurance
-Partner with paid social strategist to QA creative within platform setups, checking crops, copy, ratios, links, and mobile previews.
-Advise on creative-to-targeting alignment to ensure the right messaging reaches the right audience.
-Support setup of creative testing frameworks (e.g., hook testing, CTA comparison, static vs. video).
-Maintain a central creative library and testing tracker to monitor creative experiments and results.
