Job Description:

*** 4:30 PM to 2:20 AM Shift***

Fraud Analyst IIs are responsible for monitoring and analyzing emerging fraud trends, creating rules to prevent fraud, blocking credentials with suspected fraud, and contacting customers. 

  • Analyzes and distinguishes anomalous behaviors/transactions to identify fraud. 

  • Reviews fraud cases and will create rules to help prevent further losses from fraud, in addition to further administration of rule performance. 

  • Seeks out current and past fraud trends regarding certain financial institutions when reviewing the current queue of suspected fraud. 

  • Distinguishes fraud by blocking the credentials, notifying the financial institution, and attempting to reach out to the end user. 

  • Serves as an escalation point for lower-level analysts and may get involved with strategic conversations as necessary.  

  • Responsible for general operational hygiene and driving changes for ongoing operational efficiencies.  

  • May assist and/or mentor lower-level analysts and assist with onboarding and initial training of new analysts. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the jobs is at least three (3) years.  Technical education or job knowledge equivalent to a 2-year college or trade school.
