The RoleWe're looking for a Founding Solutions Engineer to build the technical and workflow confidence layer in our enterprise sales cycles. In close partnership with our engineering and implementation teams, you will design, validate, and clearly communicate how our product works within complex talent system environments. This is a high-leverage, first-in-role position designed to scale an efficient, repeatable enterprise sales motion.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and implementation. It is responsible for understanding a prospect’s systems and workflows, determining whether and how the product will work in that environment, and communicating that clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Enterprise Discovery & Solution Design. Map each prospect's ATS, scheduling tools, competency models, and hiring workflows to identify integration requirements and recommendations.
Custom Demo & Narrative Development. Build tailored demo flows that translate technical configurations into clear business value and help prospects understand how the product works in their specific context.
POC Support. Serve as the primary implementation lead to ensure successful POCs.
RFP & Technical Diligence. Own first-pass RFP responses in partnership with AEs, standardize high-quality responses for reuse.
Asset Creation. Build reusable materials, including integration explainers, demo templates, architecture diagrams, FAQs, etc
Pre- to Post-Sale Alignment. Ensure seamless handoffs from pre- to post-sales for enterprise-scale customers.
About You
- Systems thinking — you understand how tools and workflows connect.
- Integration literacy — you are in the weeds on APIs, data flows, permissions, system interactions, and all the nuances that make for successful implementations.
- AI native, Builder Mindset — you use AI to make yourself and the team around you 10x more productive; you build from scratch.
- Curiosity — you ask the right questions - and the right follow up questions - to uncover hidden requirements, undocumented workflows, and critical capabilities.
- Executive and Technical Communication — you can confidently engage technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
- Commercial judgment — you understand how your work fits into the commercial process and use discernment to accelerate deal momentum
- Executive presence — comfortable and confident presenting to senior executive audiences
- 5–10 years in HR tech, recruiting tech, or enterprise SaaS
- Prior experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar pre-sales role
- Experience in supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.
