GeneEase is a new kind of biotech company — using AI and gene therapy to treat health issues that medicine has historically ignored: subtle autoimmune dysfunctions, alcohol intolerance, and other subclinical conditions that don’t show up in standard diagnostics, but affect millions.
We’re starting with a precision diagnostic and personalization platform for gene-based therapies — powered by genomic, lifestyle, and phenotypic data. We're looking for a founder-type Product Leader to help us go from whiteboard to MVP and beyond.
This role is for someone who wants to co-create a biotech company at the frontier of personalized medicine and machine learning — not just ship features.
🚀 What You’ll DriveDefine the vision for our first diagnostic and personalization tools — from user flow to scientific logic
Lead early product discovery: validate hypotheses with patients, clinicians, scientists, and data partners
Partner with engineers and researchers to build our first AI-driven prototypes (diagnostic and personalization engine)
Translate research into product specs — from gene pathway insights to real-world use cases
Coordinate with external labs, scientists, and data providers to power our AI models
Help shape data strategy (privacy, ethics, structure), regulatory direction, and GTM experiments
Make core decisions on product architecture, direction, and culture from day one
Have 5–10 years of experience in product management, technical founding, or leading early product at startups
Have built and launched AI-driven or healthcare platforms from zero to one
Think in systems: patient experience ↔ data pipeline ↔ science ↔ ethics ↔ product
Know how to turn ambiguity into action — and back it with timelines, specs, and aligned teams
Can talk to AI engineers, scientists, and users in the same day — and make sense to all of them
Are excited to build a category-defining company, not just a product roadmap
Background in biotech, systems biology, genomics, or AI in healthcare
Experience with healthcare data (genomic, EHR, clinical trial, phenotypic, etc.)
Previously a founder, first PM, or early team member in a high-ambiguity startup
Experience collaborating with academic researchers, clinical labs, or regulatory advisors
Familiarity with IRB, HIPAA, GxP, or AI/ethics frameworks in healthcare
Co-create the company — not just the product. You’ll have real ownership, influence, and a say in how we grow.
Mission-first: help patients who are overlooked by traditional diagnostics — but ready to benefit from modern science
AI + Biology at its best: complex systems, cutting-edge ML, and real health impact
Remote, async, independent — we value deep work, intellectual honesty, and self-direction
