We empower organizations to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business outcomes. Our AI-native platform integrates advanced data models with intuitive workflows, making enterprise performance management simple, collaborative, and effective.
The Role
We are looking for a Founding Marketing Manager with 4–6 years of experience in product marketing, marketing strategy, or related roles. As the founding member of the marketing team, this person needs to be a builder—helping us develop the marketing function from the ground up, scaling repeatable marketing operational processes, and implementing the right business systems, tools and workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on across marketing channels, analytics, and strategy, and who thrives in early-stage environments where experimentation, learning, and iteration drive impact. You’ll work directly with the Executive team, Head of Business Operations, while partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Design.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Execution: Design and run multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, partnerships, events) to drive awareness, pipeline, and customer engagement.
Experimentation & Analytics: Develop hypotheses, set up experiments, analyze results, and turn insights into scalable playbooks.
Process & Infrastructure: Build and optimize marketing workflows, reporting, and automation tools (CRM, attribution, marketing tech stack).
Strategy Development: Contribute to go-to-market strategy, channel prioritization, and market segmentation.
Content & Creative: Partner with Design and Product teams to produce campaigns, collateral, and creative assets that reinforce Summation’s brand and messaging.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales to align on lead quality, funnel performance, and pipeline growth; with Product to optimize onboarding and adoption; and with Leadership to inform strategy.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in marketing, marketing strategy, or a related role (preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth tech).
Track record of running campaigns across paid and organic channels and translating results into business impact.
Strong analytical skills; comfort with experimentation frameworks, funnel metrics (LTV/CAC, conversion), and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to build marketing processes and implement marketing systems (HubSpot, attribution platforms, automation tools).
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to influence stakeholders across teams.
A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is motivated to build from zero to one.
Bonus Points
Experience at an early-stage startup where you built systems from scratch.
Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, or advanced analytics.
Prior exposure to finance, operations, or enterprise SaaS buyers.
