Founding GTM Intern — AI SaaS Research & Outbound

Synvolv is building the control layer for profitable AI products.

AI SaaS companies are launching copilots, agents, RAG workflows, AI support systems, and automation features faster than ever. But once real customers start using these features, a serious business problem appears: AI usage becomes unpredictable, model costs become harder to control, and product margins can quietly break.

Synvolv helps B2B SaaS companies run customer-facing AI with better visibility, usage control, budget discipline, routing, attribution, and margin protection.

We are opening one founding GTM internship seat for someone who wants to work directly with the founders and help build Synvolv’s early go-to-market motion from zero.

This is not a normal internship.

This is for someone who wants to learn how an early technical startup finds its market, identifies buyers, creates pipeline, runs founder-led sales, and turns raw market signals into real customer conversations.

Role Details

Title: Founding GTM Intern — AI SaaS Research & Outbound
Team: Founder’s Office / GTM
Location: Remote — India
Type: Internship
Mode: Remote
Compensation: Paid internship with performance-linked upside for sourced customers. Details will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

What You Will Work On

You will help Synvolv find the right AI SaaS companies, understand their AI workflows, map the right buyers, prepare sharp outreach, and support founder-led customer conversations.

Your work will include:

  • AI SaaS market mapping

  • ICP research

  • Buyer discovery

  • Account scoring

  • Founder-led outbound preparation

  • Company briefs before calls

  • CRM discipline

  • Reply and objection tracking

  • Competitor and positioning research

  • GTM experiments

  • Market intelligence

You will not be judged by how many rows you add to a spreadsheet.

You will be judged by the quality of your thinking, the sharpness of your research, and your ability to help create real customer conversations.

The Market You Will Study

You will research companies building or launching:

  • AI copilots

  • AI agents

  • AI support products

  • RAG and docs AI

  • AI workflow automation

  • AI analytics

  • AI-first SaaS products

  • B2B SaaS products adding customer-facing AI features

Your job is to understand where Synvolv may matter.

Not every AI company is a fit. You will learn how to identify companies where AI cost, usage control, routing, attribution, budgets, or margin protection could become a real business problem.

What Good Work Looks Like

You should be able to look at a company’s website, product pages, docs, job posts, founder posts, launch announcements, and LinkedIn profiles — then figure out:

  • What is this company building?

  • Where is AI used in the product?

  • Is the AI customer-facing?

  • Who owns this problem internally?

  • Why would Synvolv matter to them?

  • What signal suggests they may care now?

  • What should we say to start a serious conversation?

This role is not about copy-pasting AI output.

It is about judgment.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone unusually sharp, curious, and high-ownership.

You may be a student. You may not have formal work experience. That is fine.

But you must have hunger, taste, discipline, and the ability to learn fast.

You should be:

  • Curious about AI, SaaS, startups, and GTM

  • Good at internet research

  • Comfortable going deeper than surface-level information

  • Able to write clearly in English

  • Comfortable using ChatGPT and modern internet tools

  • Interested in founder-led sales and early customer discovery

  • Disciplined with data and follow-ups

  • Willing to handle ambiguity

  • Serious about learning how startups actually find customers

This Role Is For You If
  • You want to work close to founders

  • You want real startup exposure, not just a certificate

  • You enjoy research, writing, markets, and buyer psychology

  • You want to understand how technical AI products go from MVP to market

  • You want your work to connect directly to customer acquisition

  • You can handle unclear problems and still make progress

  • You want to build proof that you helped create early GTM for an AI startup

This Role Is Not For You If
  • You only want a title

  • You only want a certificate

  • You need constant instructions for every small task

  • You copy-paste AI output without thinking

  • You are careless with data

  • You are scared of sales or rejection

  • You do not like research-heavy work

  • You want a slow corporate internship

What You Will Learn

You will learn how early-stage GTM actually works.

You will learn:

  • How to define an ICP

  • How to find high-fit accounts

  • How to identify technical and business buyers

  • How to write personalized outbound

  • How founder-led sales works

  • How to prepare customer call briefs

  • How to track objections and market signals

  • How to maintain CRM discipline

  • How to convert research into pipeline

  • How a technical AI product moves from MVP to market

This is a role for someone who wants to become a founder, GTM operator, startup generalist, sales leader, product marketer, or early-stage builder.

Selection Process

We are not hiring from resumes alone.

The selection process will include:

  1. Application review

  2. Practical GTM challenge

  3. GTM judgment interview

  4. Founder pressure-test interview

Shortlisted candidates will receive a practical challenge designed to test research depth, judgment, writing, buyer mapping, commercial thinking, and ownership.

We are looking for one person who can prove they deserve the seat.

How To Apply

Apply through this page.

Please share:

  • Who you are

  • One AI SaaS company Synvolv should study or target, and why

  • One proof of work you want us to evaluate

We review applications manually.

We are not selecting based on resumes alone. We are looking for clear thinking, research instinct, ownership, and genuine interest in AI SaaS, startups, and GTM.
