We’re a well-capitalized startup combining Olympian-proven systems with cutting-edge AI to create the future of endurance sports performance. This is a founding-level role where you’ll work directly with the CTO to build scalable systems that drive real-world results for athletes at every level.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Technical Vision: Build large, complex, and maintainable systems that power AI/ML insights for endurance athletes.
• Hands-On Coding: Design, code, and deploy scalable systems that integrate data from wearables, user inputs, and more.
• Architect the Foundation: Develop efficient data pipelines to enable AI-driven performance enhancements.
• Collaborate on Strategy: Work with the CTO and leadership team to align technical execution with product goals.
• Document & Scale: Create technical documentation and processes to prepare for team expansion.
• Build the Culture: Set the bar for future engineers by creating a high-performance, collaborative engineering environment.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience:
  • 4+ years of software development experience, with a focus on building scalable, high-impact systems.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex systems faster than most competent engineers.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and scalability.
• Required Technologies:
  • Frontend: React, React Native, Redux
  • Backend: Python, AWS, Serverless Lambda Functions
  • Databases: SQL, MongoDB
  • AI/ML: Data Science, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Traits & Skills:
  • A self-starter with an intense work ethic and a track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Top-notch communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Passion for endurance sports—bonus if you’re an athlete yourself!
  • Thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with elite co-workers.
