A quick note from the founders
I'm Mitchell, one of the founders of Deposely, and I couldn't be more excited to be expanding our founding team to help us drive growth.
My Co-Founder, Donnie, and I launched Deposely with a handful of top-level goals in mind:
* Solve real problems
* Learn new skills
* Have fun doing it
Our philosophy around building a team is centered around **passion** and **compassion**. By that, I mean we want our team to be all-in while keeping the human aspect top-of-mind. You'll find that our team is full of energy, serious but not too serious, and also understanding.
What is Deposely and why should you care?
We're an early-stage team excited about technology and the legal space.
We love what we do because legal work is important and protects every-day people, but it's also extremely underdeveloped from a tech perspective, and AI is beginning to make meaningful change in this space.
Deposely solves one specific subsection of the work litigators do, but it's a big part: depositions. You may have seen in Suits or other shows where a lawyer will sit down in a conference room across from a witness with a camera pointed at them and ask them questions under oath—that's a deposition. Unlike those shows, though, hours and hours of work go into preparing for, conducting, and reviewing depositions, and that's where Deposely comes in.
We save real time and money for lawyers and their clients, and we give them better tools to improve their chances of success.
While we are early stage, we already have:
* Dozens of paying clients
* Hundreds of users
* In-progress sales motions with AM Law 200 firms
* Several distribution parters
And beyond just our bottom line, we also believe in increasing equitable access to justice through technology. From near day 1, we've launched several programs focused on the A2J fight, including Deposely Essentials and the Deposely Justice Initiative.
The Role
As our **Director of Sales, Mid-Market**, you'll be a core member of our founding team, owning our mid-market sales motion, across personal injury, employment, civil rights, and other litigation practices. This is a founding, full-cycle IC role: you'll strategize, prospect, and build business cases. You'll close 2-4 new logos per quarter while shaping the mid-market playbook, messaging, and funnel ops, and grow into a player-coach as we scale.
What you'll do at Deposely:
- Build and manage a repeatable pipeline via targeted outbound, event follow-ups, referrals, and content-driven inbound.
- Run crisp discovery, pilot scoping, and ROI, guiding prospects through security and procurement.
- Shorten cycles with strong next-step discipline (mutual action plans, exec alignment).
- Partner with founders on messaging, pricing, and conversion experiments; instrument the funnel.
- Scale to coach as we expand our sales team.
You could be a great fit if you:
- Are a self-starter, innately curious and always evolving.
- Have 5+ years closing complex B2B deals, ideally in legaltech or adjacent workflow SaaS.
- Have proven wins at $50k–$250k ACV clients.
- Are comfortable running full SDR→AE cycle (outbound, events, referrals) with founder collaboration on late stage.
- Have excellent commercial sense (pricing, terms, multi-year, expansion paths).
Nice-to-Haves
- Legal industry network (AM Law firms, litigation support vendors).
- Security/IT review experience (SOC2, HIPAA-adjacent customer asks).
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation with high commission potential
- Founding equity grant
- Unlimited PTO with a recommended 4 weeks (and we will bug you if you go too long without using it)
- Medical, dental, and vision
- Professional development stipend
- Fully remote with access to office space in the Seattle area
- Home office stipend to spruce it up and make it comfortable
- A fun team that genuinely cares
How We Hire
No one likes super drawn out hiring loops, so we keep ours fairly tight with just 3 rounds over a 1-2 week period:
- Round 1: Conversations with each of the founders
