What impact you’ll make:
As the EMENAT Statutory Finance Leader, you will lead all processes and deliverables related to statutory accounting for the EMENAT region to ensure timely submission of all requested information from the external parties.
You will be a key partner to the Fossil Services Rest of World ITR Finance Leader, Europe ITR Finance team as well as Controllership/Statutory team. You will also own the P&L and balance sheet for the Nordics countries in Fossil Services EMENAT. Job Description
What you’ll do
Own the EMENAT statutory reporting process, including making improvements in the design and processes
Delivering compliant statutory reporting on a timely and accurate basis, in compliance with Local GAAP
Coordination with various team members in Fossil Services as well as other finance teams including Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership to ensure timely and accurate reporting of statutory reports
Review and analysis of critical accounting areas
Be responsible for quarterly, monthly and weekly pacing of revenue, CCM, structure cost (SG&A + FPC), op profit and cash. Identify gaps early on vs target and drive closure
Engage and own closing process and all the subsequent reporting related to the Nordics and to measure actual performance vs targets
Identify and drive significant, broad initiatives designed to improve business financial performance
Partner with Europe ITR Finance to be aligned on the Nordics financials and Risk and Opportunities
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge / experience
Strong technical finance acumen, including in-depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting, controllership principles, financial reporting, and analysis
Proven ability to lead and influence dispersed teams, providing clear direction, actively communicating and ensuring consistent performance
Fluent English knowledge is essential
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans

Controllership assessment and planning experience is preferred
