Deployment Strategist
Remote Various Locations, US
You’ve been in the room where real-world problems get solved with software. You’ve seen firsthand how Foundry can be the difference between confusion and clarity, friction and flow, stuck and scaling. Now, you’re ready to do it again—this time, with a small business built for impact and speed.
PVM is seeking a Deployment Strategist to help mission-driven organizations fully leverage Palantir Foundry to solve the most challenging problems we are facing in the world today. If you’ve worked as a Forward Deployed Strategist or Forward Deployed Engineer, you already know what this is about: embedding deeply with users, translating their challenges into elegant data and workflow solutions, and pushing the limits of what’s possible to deliver meaningful outcomes—fast.
At PVM, you’ll be part of a nimble, focused team that thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and operates with a single priority: enabling mission success. You won’t be buried in red tape or boxed into narrow roles. You’ll own your work, shape strategy, and be trusted to deliver.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a Strategic Partner: Act as a hands-on guide for customers navigating complex missions—helping them unlock the full potential of their data to solve real-world problems by addressing their biggest pain points.
- Deliver at Speed: Rapidly onboard users, provide targeted training, and accelerate time-to-value across their data ecosystem—from pipelines to permissions to Workshop and Quiver.
- Translate, Build, Operationalize: Work directly with stakeholders to understand their goals, map requirements, and build workflows and data integrations that scale. You’ll turn ambiguity into action.
- See Around Corners: Anticipate challenges before they block progress—whether technical, organizational, or human—and proactively design solutions that keep momentum high.
- Stay Hands-On: You’re not afraid to dive into a pipeline, sketch an ontology update, or help debug a permissions issue. You keep users moving and the platform humming.
- Drive Adoption and Trust: Become the person users turn to—not just for help, but for ideas, feedback, and strategy. You’ll guide them from first login to full operational impact.
- Contribute to the Bigger Picture: Collaborate across PVM’s teams to share insights from the field that inform better product practices, training materials, and customer strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Former Palantir Echo / FDS / FDE experience required
You’ve delivered outcomes in complex environments and made a real difference in customer missions. You know Foundry inside and out—pipelines, ontology, Workshop, Quiver, operational rhythms. - You don’t shy away from complex challenges — you lean in. You’re energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and willing to do the hard work it takes to get to the right answer.
- Proven ability to work directly with customers to understand their missions, build trust, and deliver tangible results through software.
- Comfort operating in the gray: unstructured problems, evolving requirements, and high-stakes environments don’t faze you.
- Familiarity with data modeling, system architecture, and software delivery. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you speak the language.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, scripting, or other tools used to manipulate and integrate data.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS GovCloud preferred), governance, and modern data infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills across audiences—from analysts to executives. You can explain complex ideas simply and with empathy.
Why PVM?
We’re a small team focused solely on government missions that matter. We work closely with Palantir’s technologies and teams, but bring our own approach: grounded, collaborative, and built for impact in the field.
PVM may be a small business, but we’ve built a 15+ year legacy of driving impact — from our roots with the U.S. Navy to work across public health, intelligence, justice, public safety, environmental, and other domains.
Here, you’ll stay close to the problems you care about, alongside our team of builders, veterans, and former Palantirians who care deeply about doing meaningful work. We value people who translate complexity into action and thrive when the stakes are high.
If you're looking for your next chapter of meaningful work, we’d love to talk.
