To drive growth and customer acquisition strategy, we are seeking a seasoned FMSI Account Executive and Sales to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a visionary, capable of devising and executing a comprehensive business strategy that not only prioritizes growth and customer satisfaction but also enhances our market reach, fortifies client relationships, and elevates our sales team's reputation in the marketplace.

Objectives of the Role:

  • To work together with the FMSI Management Team to develop and implement targeted client acquisition strategies. The FMSI Account Executive should focus on identifying and prioritizing potential clients whose needs align with the company's offerings. This involves conducting market research, leveraging industry connections, and employing innovative outreach techniques to attract high-value prospects.
  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Collaborating with complementary businesses or industry influencers can significantly enhance client acquisition efforts. The FMSI Account Executive should establish and nurture strategic partnerships to expand the company's reach and access new markets, ultimately contributing to the goal of acquiring new clients for FMSI.
  • Drive Customer-centric Value Propositions: Understanding the unique needs and pain points of prospective clients is essential for effective client acquisition. The FMSI Account Executive should work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor compelling value propositions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the company from competitors, ultimately driving contract revenue growth.
  • Build, grow and nurture your network. Our approach is centered on people, and having credible, hands-on experience in financial operations, or Financial Management SaaS is essential for understanding both our product and the key financial decision-makers we serve. The FMSI Account Executive should actively keep abreast of industry trends, stay informed about the evolution in financial management practices, and continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development. This could involve attending industry conferences, participating in networking events, subscribing to relevant publications, and/or pursuing additional training. By staying proactive and informed, the FMSI Account Executive can effectively leverage their expertise to build and nurture their network while also understanding the changing landscape of Financial Management Software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: The FMSI Account Executive should work together with the FMSI Management Team to craft and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve the organization's client acquisition and revenue targets. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning business development efforts with the company's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generating a steady flow of qualified leads is fundamental to the success of the account executive function. The FMSI Account Executive will drive effective lead generation initiatives, including targeted marketing campaigns, networking events, and strategic partnerships, to expand the company's client base.
  • Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management: Cultivating strong relationships with prospects, clients, and key industry stakeholders is crucial for driving business growth. The FMSI Account Executive will proactively engage with decision-makers, nurture new client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaboration across departments is vital for achieving synergy and alignment in business development activities. The FMSI Account Executive should collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging, product-market fit, and ongoing customer satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the company's overall success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Growth in Enterprise Organizations: Demonstrated track record of driving significant sales growth in enterprise organizations, managing large portfolio of contracts. Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, market dynamics, and the ability to consistently deliver results in a competitive landscape is expected.
  • Executive Presence and Customer Service Excellence: Must possess an executive presence and be influential with decision-makers at the highest levels. Demonstrate a relentless commitment to customer service excellence, ensuring that client needs are not only met but exceeded at every opportunity.
  • Proficiency in Business, Marketing, Sales, and Financial Principles: Strong proficiency in business and sales techniques, as well as a solid understanding of financial principles related to contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasting.
  • Outstanding Project Management Capabilities: Skilled in project management, capable of effectively managing multiple initiatives concurrently while ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Can effectively communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Passion for Company Growth: Demonstrates a genuine passion for the growth and potential of the company, exhibiting enthusiasm, drive, and a proactive mindset in pursuing opportunities for expansion and success.
  • Strong Negotiation and Networking Abilities: Possesses strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and leverage networks effectively to drive business development initiatives and secure favorable outcomes.
  • Exceptional Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Highly organized and adept at prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and solving complex problems creatively and collaboratively.
  • Comfort and Ease in Software Demonstration: Skilled in conducting software demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and value proposition of FMSI’s products or services. Capable of effectively tailoring demonstrations to address the specific needs and pain points of prospective clients, thereby enhancing engagement and driving conversion rates.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems: Experience and proficiency in utilizing CRM or similar customer relationship management systems to manage leads, track sales activities, and optimize the sales process for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Zoho CRM will be an asset.

  • Deep knowledge of Comunity Banking and the Credit Union industry and the technologies that support these business functions.
  • Over 5 years of business and consulting acumen, with a focus on selling SaaS solutions in Enterprise markets.
  • Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for success.
  • Executive presence, coupled with superior communication and presentation skills.

Travel Requirement:
This position may require travel, estimated at at least 50% of the time.
Location Preference - West Coast - Remote with Travel
