The Role

Are you a self-motivated professional who wants to make money selling an innovative technology while also solving crime? If you thrive in a competitive, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment, this is a game-changing opportunity for you. Flock is looking to add a FlockOS / NOVA Solution Specialist to our growing team. This person will play a key role in helping the company grow, focusing on a growth market, owning demos, partnering with the GTM team, and supporting closing deals. The position requires travel up to 50% during peak seasons.

This is an individual contributor role that reports directly to our Director of Solution Specialists. We’re offering a base + variable target compensation structure with an annual target $180K OTE; our base salary range for this role is $120K - $140K. This position is not individual quota carrying and will have the opportunity to make quarterly bonuses tied to goals specific to these products. 

This is a 100% remote field sales opportunity.

How you'll make an impact: 

  • Sales / Subject Matter Expert: Identify and pursue net new Nova & FlockOS opportunities working closely with our existing sales teams, ensuring you help win the product decision. Drive pipeline and growth in these unique and high potential products. 

  • Education / Ecosystem : Get educated on Flock’s entire product suite, understand how all of our products work together cohesively in the ecosystem, knowing our goal is to enable customers to solve crimes faster and more efficiently, and be able to relay that to customers.

  • Conduct Virtual and In-Person Demos: Support the existing sales team by being a Subject Matter Expert and adding value to their sales process. 

  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments, providing insights to inform sales strategies and product development.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as sales, product, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.

  • Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on advancements in technology and sales techniques, continuously improving knowledge and skills to remain competitive in the industry.

  • Attend Industry Events: Represent Flock at industry events & conferences, Internal forums with customers, etc. 

We're looking for people who:

  • Background in using investigative tools / software and how it can be applied to our customers 

  • Someone who understands our customer’s needs and why our products plays a significant role in their environment 

  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results

  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, comfortable doing remote and in-person demos

  • Energized by solving customer's problems- e.g. consultative sales approach

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, data-driven sales environment

At Flock Safety, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. The range above is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future. This job posting may span more than one career level.
