Position SummaryLuxor is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Services Analyst to help grow our derivatives trading desk and expand our suite of financial products across Bitcoin mining and energy markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge market infrastructure, design new financial instruments, and support commercial and trading strategies for miners, investors, and power market participants.
The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis skills, is comfortable operating across multiple market domains, and is excited by the convergence of Bitcoin mining and energy finance.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor Bitcoin mining and energy markets to identify trading opportunities, risk exposures, and portfolio impacts.
Support daily trading desk operations, including pricing, contract structuring, and financial modeling.
Assist in preparing financial and risk reports for internal stakeholders, trading portfolios, and counterparties.
Conduct credit assessments and support margining processes for Bitcoin mining and power-related trades.
Maintain internal systems for CRM, trade records, and contract tracking.
Contribute to client-facing initiatives through custom financial analysis, presentations, and market insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in energy and mining to align financial strategies with market conditions.
Track and analyze policy, regulatory, and industry trends in digital assets and power markets.
Help develop and maintain internal tools for pricing, risk management, and exposure tracking.
1–3 years of experience in financial services, trading, or market analysis; internship or analyst program experience encouraged.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and comfort with financial modeling.
Interest in derivatives, market structure, and emerging technologies in compute, crypto, and energy.
Familiarity with risk concepts, pricing frameworks, and financial reporting.
Experience with CRM systems or market data platforms is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, data science, or a related field.
High attention to detail, strong integrity, and a proactive mindset.
