We are hiring a Financial Operations Specialist to join the Lendbuzz team! This role is responsible for reviewing and approving loans for financing, a critical function in our underwriting and loan originations process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer loan applications for compliance with Lendbuzz's policies, programs, and guidelines
  • Investigate and reject customer loan applications that do not meet origination requirements
  • Approve customer loan applications that do meet origination requirements for loan financing
  • Request additional information from the Lendbuzz Underwriting or Lendbuzz Sales teams when appropriate
  • Communicate real-time with the Lendbuzz Sales team regarding customer loan application quality, with feedback conveyed to car dealerships on any corrections needed
  • Escalate customer loan application exception decisions to management when appropriate
  • Meet monthly production metric targets set for the Funding department

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of work experience at an auto lender, preferably in a funding department (but not required) 
  • Must be able to work independently and have extreme detail orientation 
  • Must have a compliance mindset
  • Must have excellent prioritization skills
  • Must be a team player and able to collaborate across several departments and organizational levels
