Position Summary:
The role will directly contribute to Redaptive’s top and bottom lines by successfully structuring deals to close while managing Redaptive’s profitability. This role is primarily internal facing and will report to the Pricing Strategy & Deal Structuring Lead.

Responsibilities and Duties:  

  • Create and develop financial models to determine energy savings cash flows through 

  • Gaining a thorough understanding of Redaptive’s Efficiency as a Service (“EaaS”) business model 

  • Accurately representing cashflows, returns, and payback periods 

  • Incorporating pricing strategy and engineering data 

  • Keeping customer and Redaptive goals at the forefront of decision making 

  • Create sales/customer facing proposals, views and analyses from modeling/data findings 

  • Provide recommendations to Proposal Development and Sales teams on how to drive incremental returns from modeled projects 

  • Drive strategy by keeping a pulse on the bigger picture 

  • Identify trends and adjustments you may see in the day-to-day modeling 

  • The devil is in the details, seek guidance when something doesn’t seem right 

  • Collaborate cross functionally to achieve customer and Redaptive goals 

  • Dive into the “why”  

  • Drive value-add change by assisting in simplifying processes, accelerating automation, and enhancing analytics functions 

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

Required Abilities and Skills: 

  • Positive attitude & willingness to work cross functionally 

  • Intermediate excel skills- 

  • Proficiency in developing financial models via cashflows 

  • Solid communication skills, written & verbal  

  • Self-starter that can work with limited guidance within a team  

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics, Data Science or Engineering 

  • Alternatively, 3+ years of directly applicable experience in investment, loan or other financial modelling  

  • Intermediate Excel skills  

  • Familiarity with CRM Software (Salesforce) preferred 

  • Solar financial modeling background is a plus

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

  • Expected annual salary: $90,000 - $$110,000 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
