In This Role
You will play a key part in supporting the business operations team by maintaining recurring financial and analytical reports, models, and forecasts. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You’ll collaborate across teams to update key scorecards, evaluate performance against forecasts, and provide clear explanations of business trends. The role also includes preparing weekly business outlooks and supporting ad-hoc analysis for senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Refresh and update monthly key reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive slides.
- Perform variance-to-forecast analysis across core business metrics to identify drivers and trends.
- Maintain and enhance advanced financial or analytical models on a monthly basis.
- Deliver a weekly business outlook summarizing latest trends and forecast shifts.
- Support ad-hoc analyses and provide data-driven insights to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Validate results, question outliers, and ensure findings are clearly communicated to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, or a similar data-driven role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, scenario modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities—able to explain data clearly and concisely.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Must be able to work effectively within Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or variance analysis within a corporate FP&A environment.
- Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Comfort working in a virtual or geographically distributed team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $31.25 to $33.65 USD/hour. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
