Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for various business units on the expense side, helping leaders make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in finance or accounting, an interest in the entertainment industry, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for assigned business units
  • Perform monthly variance and trend analysis to support business performance reviews
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including
  • Assist in preparing presentations for leadership and stakeholders
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting and planning efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, basic modeling) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and in team settings

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to financial planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, or other ERP tools)
  • Interest in industry trends and business models in streaming and content production

Other Information

  • This role is in office Mon-Thurs, while Fridays are WFH
  • Occasional long-hours may be required during planning cycles
  • Opportunities for growth into senior analyst or FP&A roles

Compensation

$70,000 - $80,000
